The Whiteout Skiing Podcast
The Whiteout Skiing Podcast – Ski · Travel · Adventure
The Whiteout Skiing Podcast is the UK's No.1 ski podcast, covering ski holidays, ski resorts, snow conditions, ski gear and the biggest stories from the mountains.
Presented by Dom Killinger from InTheSnow and ski journalist Rob Stewart, two mad passionate skiers who've somehow managed to scrape a living by skiing, The Whiteout Skiing Podcast combines expert ski knowledge with the conversations skiers actually have.
Where's the snow? Which ski resorts are worth visiting? What ski gear is worth buying? Where should you ski next? And what are the big stories everyone's talking about?
Expect regular snow reports from the Alps, North America and beyond, destination advice, resort reviews, ski travel, new gear and technology, ski racing, mountain news and plenty of opinion.
We also tackle the questions that get skiers talking: Has skiing become too expensive? Can you still ski for £1,000? Are huge ski areas actually worth it? Is a £700 ski jacket really worth £700? And where is the best ski resort in the world?
Guests have included Lindsey Vonn, Bode Miller and Eddie the Eagle, alongside ski racers, athletes, adventurers, resort insiders, equipment experts and some of the most interesting personalities in the mountains.
Behind The Whiteout is InTheSnow, the UK's largest ski and mountain travel media platform, with 20 years of experience covering skiing and an audience of more than one million skiers each week across print, digital, social, email, YouTube and podcast.
The Whiteout was a finalist for Best Broadcast Audio Programme at the 2025 Travel Media Awards.
Skiing will always be at the heart of The Whiteout, but the conversation increasingly goes further.

A ski podcast hosted by Dom Killinger publisher InTheSnow and Rob Stewart and owner Ski Press.
In this episode, Rob Stewart, our regular Podcast Host, is joined by British Olympian Emily Sarsfield to look at the do's and don'ts for buying your first pair of skis .
Rob talks about your ability level, and being honest about it and making sure you visit a store rather than just buy online.
Are you looking for a piste ski, an all mountain ski or freeride skis? Or maybe something racier?
For piste skis they recommend the likes of the Elan Wingman 88 for a review of this ski, visit here or the Atomic Cloud 9 which is a women's ski.
For a more off piste ski, the Salomon QST 99 (99 under foot) or for a review see here and for a womens specific freeride ski, the Black Crows Captis Birdie also reviewed here.
For an all mountain ski, the Volkl Kendo is reviewed here or for women the Blizzard Black Pearl are also great options.
So:
> Know your ability
> Know what type of skier you are
> Think about what type of ski you would like
> Visit a decent ski shop
> It's always best to buy in store rather than online.
In the meantime Enjoy the mountains :) And Please do leave a review as it's the only way other like minded travellers get to find us!
